Step 0: Hardware
You need 2 things:
- Phone with Android 12+, or iOS 15+
- Smart glasses – Even Realities G1 ($599), Vuzix Z100 ($499), Mentra Mach1 ($349), or Mentra Live ($169).

Setup - AugmentOS
Here's how to install the smart glasses app store.
AugmentOS unlocks the potential of your smart glasses - both through a suite of killer apps and by letting you build your own apps. In about 3 minutes, you'll have AugmentOS installed, and you'll see what the hype is all about.
Android
Download this APK and install it on your phone. If you need help, follow the detailed instructions below.
iPhone
AugmentOS for iPhone is now in early beta, available through TestFlight.
Step 1: Install
On your phone, download the AugmentOS APK (link above) on Android, or follow the above TestFlight link for iOS.
For Android APK, once it’s downloaded, install it by tapping the file in your “Files” app or browser app.
Open the AugmentOS app and go through the steps.
Step 2: Connect
Glasses type
Choose your glasses
Follow the instructions
Open AugmentOS and press “Connect Glasses”.
Choose your glasses model.
Follow the instructions carefully. For G1, ensure they’re in the case, plugged in, and the case is open. For Z100 and Mentra Mach1, make sure the Connect app is connected.
Step 3: Get Your Apps, Apps, Apps
Tap an app to start it.
Hold an app to access its settings.
To download more apps, open AugmentOS and navigate to the AugmentOS Store (the third icon in the bottom navigation bar).
Select any app you want. Tap “Install”.
Step 4: Have Fun
To start an app, just tap it in the Your Apps section. It will show up in the Running Apps section.
To change the app’s settings, tap and hold it. A settings page will appear.
