Step 0: Hardware

You need 2 things:
  1. Android phone. Android 12+.
  2. Smart glasses – Even Realities G1 ($599), Vuzix Z100 ($499), or Mentra Mach1 ($349).
More glasses coming soon. iOS support coming soon.

Step 1: Install

On your phone, open up this page: Beta Download Link

Download the AugmentOS-Manager-v0p7p1.apk and AugmentOS-Core-v0p7p1.apk files.

Install both of those APKs on your phone. After each install, make sure to open up each app and accept all the permissions.

Step 2: Connect

Open up the “AugmentOS Manager” app.

Go back to main page and press “Connect”.

Choose your glasses type.

Follow the instructions carefully. For G1, ensure they’re in the case, plugged in, and the case is open. For Z100 and Mentra Mach1, make sure the Connect app is connected.

Step 3: Get Your Apps

To download apps, open up AugmentOS Manager and navigate to the AugmentOS Store (the third icon in the bottom navigation bar).

Select any app you want. Tap “Install”.

This will download the app to your phone. When it’s downloaded, it will prompt you to install

Step 4: Have Fun

To start an app, just tap it in the Your Apps section. It will show up in the Running Apps section.

To change the app’s settings, tap and hold it. A settings page will appear.

Have fun <3

Final Note

This is a beta. This is a beta. This is a beta.

There are some problem, there are some bugs.

One very good thing to do when it’s not working: close the app and “Force Stop” it. Do this for both AugmentOS Manager and AugmentOS Core. Then start AugmentOS Manager, wait a few seconds, and try connecting again.

Report your bugs in the Discord! The community is happy to help. Don’t give up too early, it’s worth it. Enjoy!
